THE ORIGINAL “HANGTOWN FRY”

$15.00

As the story goes in the mid 1800’s during the California gold rush, a mine was said to have struck it rich on his claim outside of Placerville (then nicknamed ” Hangtown”) he came in to town and asked
for the most expensive dish items they had to be made into a meal. So they tossed oysters, bacon, onions, and eggs into a pan, scrambled it together, and so was born “Hangtown Fry”. Many people try to claim the fame on this dish but there is only one”Hangtown U.S.A.” We serve this dish with melted cheese on top.
